We are looking for a Senior Pricing & Profitability Analyst within our Pricing function to play a pivotal role in building Cerba Research's pricing capability, providing the analytical backbone that drives commercial performance across our global portfolio.

How You Will Add Value

As a Senior Pricing & Profitability Analyst within the Global Growth & Strategy team, you will contribute to:

  • Strengthening margin governance through disciplined price–cost–margin analysis across tests, services and study types

  • Enhancing pricing processes by building scalable frameworks, catalogues and documentation that reduce key-person dependency

  • Driving continuous improvement by identifying margin leakage, outdated pricing and structural inefficiencies

  • Shaping best practices in pricing analytics and profitability management across Cerba's global service portfolio

Your Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously improve price–cost–margin analyses across tests, services and study types

  • Build and maintain cost models reflecting laboratory operations, partner labs and service delivery models

  • Support pricing of new deals, renewals and change orders, including deal economics and sensitivity analyses

  • Own pricing catalogue maintenance across regions, services and delivery models, including inflation recovery and periodic repricing

  • Monitor and analyse discounts, preparing recommendations in line with governance policies

  • Develop and maintain pricing and margin KPIs, dashboards and recurring reports for Pricing, Finance and Commercial teams

  • Support SAP, O2C and pricing tool implementation, ensuring pricing logic is correctly captured

  • Act as the institutional memory of pricing, maintaining models, documentation and assumptions over time

Job requirements

About You

You're an analytical self-starter who's equally comfortable building something from scratch as you are interrogating an existing model. You don't wait to be told what to do next; you identify it, structure it, and drive it forward.

  • Proven experience in price–cost–margin analysis and financial modelling in complex, cost-intensive service environments

  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with SAP or O2C processes advantageous

  • Ability to distil complex analyses into clear takeaways for senior or ELT-level stakeholders

  • Confident and direct, able to ask tough questions, challenge assumptions and make recommendations under ambiguity

  • Background in CRO, lab or sample-testing environments is advantageous but not essential; transferable experience from logistics or similar cost-intensive service sectors is welcome

  • Fluent in English

Travel: Not required for this role. Occasional travel to regional sites may arise as the role evolves.
